This record-setting year-over-year growth was driven by major customer wins, an accelerated pace of product innovation, recognition for product excellence, and continuing investment in partnerships and industry leadership.

Accelerated Product Innovation in 2014
In 2014, SOA Software focused on API management, API security, SOA governance, and cloud integration. A highlight from among more than 25 product introductions and upgrades during the year was the new Integrated API Gateway. The Gateway combines security, developer community, integration and mediation capabilities for APIs, web services, and microservices.
The company also announced a number of security enhancements in API security and threat prevention, support for the hardware security module (HSM), API monetization, and DevOps automation. SOA Software completed PCI DSS 3.0 validation of its SaaS platform in 2014. Other notable product innovations from 2014 included adding orchestration for API management, support for run-time scripting, multiple descriptor languages, advanced API analytics, a Lifecycle API, and an enterprise API catalog. All products are available in the cloud, as on-premise software, or as a hybrid deployment.
In early 2015, the company will be releasing Envision, a highly scalable business and API analytics platform built on a NoSQL store for scalability and performance.
Growth in Partnerships
Partnerships with IBM and Microsoft were an area for continued investment in 2014. SOA Software extended Policy Manager to IBM WebSphere DataPower to offer comprehensive support for defining and managing RESTful APIs on the DataPower platform. SOA Software added the ability for Microsoft enterprise users executing API programs to do targeted management of their Microsoft-based APIs and services environments, including APIs deployed on the Windows Azure cloud. SOA Software also developed strategic partnerships with cloud, IaaS and PaaS vendors like Amazon AWS, VMWare, Verizon Terremark, Akamai, Concur, and more., to deliver truly best-in-class cloud and hybrid deployment topologies for our customers.
