Akana is currently looking for an Inside Sales Associate to partner with the Direct Sales Team to build out a territory and generate interest in our products and services. The Inside Sales Associate is responsible for driving the day-to-day prospecting and lead generation for their outside sales partner, including making outbound calls, securing high-level appointments and making the initial presentation of our solutions.
Set meetings with high-level executive prospects for outside sales team
Qualify all prospects, track progress through the sales cycle and substantially contribute to growing a territory
Handle incoming leads for designated territory
Analyze and research companies to qualify as prospects in conjunction with marketing department
Play critical role in optimizing sales process of early stage company to increase sales
Update, create and manage sales database
Be a leader and valued contributor to the sales team and grow potential for outside sales position
2-3 years inside sales experience in enterprise software.
Technical knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies.
Demonstrated understanding of Web services and Web services technologies.
